EPC (Energy Performance Certificates) is made necessary by the EU Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) for commercial buildings at the time of a new tenancy or sale. It is required to provide an EPC with sales or letting information, or at the latest when the building is viewed.

To produce your certificate one of our qualified assessors will visit the premises and collect the necessary data. After the visit, the collected data is entered into the government-approved software, calculations on heat loss and the efficiency of lighting, heating and air conditioning systems are taken into account to calculate the overall rating on the commercial EPC certificate. The software also generates a recommendation report as to actions which can be taken to improve the energy efficiency of the building. Once complete both hard and electronic copies of the certificate will be produced.
