ASAP Rating is a way of comparing the performance of different homes. It results in a figure between 1 and 100+. SBEM calculates the monthly energy use and carbon dioxide emissions of a building based on the building geometry, construction, HVAC, and lighting. Also, some commercial extension and conversion projects will require an SBEM Calculation.
